I love Rivers. We get Raj white T shirts here - though they are about $6 - in 12 mths they have barely shown any wear. The shoes are cool casuals, I love the gear they have. Check out the clearance centres and the bargains on line.

You can buy a voucher online and (?0r maybe spend on line as well)??
$6 postage and handling if within Oz - more for overseas. But if family order online from overseas, it can be sent to anyone within Oz for $6 which is good. Overseas is already converted into US dollars on line, and they can direct order, or fax and phone.

SportsGirl now does online orders and shipping and the best part is you can do direct exchanges at the stores.

http://www.tobi.com/ - clothing
Just discovered this site, I must admit it is a US site but it has a lot of really great stuff and ships to Australia for a flat rate of $29.
(btw, I haven't ordered anything yet but I REALLY want too  When I do, I'll update on how it goes.)

Everyone is always complaining about online shopping here, but there is an excellent EXCELLENT EXCELLENT (yes, it warrants all caps and three repeats) article in the May edition of Money magazine about online shopping here, with about 50 links. I'm slowly working my way through all the suggestions. I just found this one though, and it's fabulous:

http://au.strawberrynet.com

They have FREE shipping and the one product I was specifically looking for (Clinque All About Eyes) was $8 cheaper than in the store.

They also have several book selling sites similar to Amazon listed which I didn't know existed- I will look at those later and post anyone that looks good.

That's a great link Natasha, thanks!!

I keep forgetting about this area of YDU, but in the last few months I've used the online boutiques of some Aussie designers/online stores and had REALLY good experience with shipping and returning. Except for Peep Toe Shoes. Don't order online from them, they're terrible!!

*sigh* No Olay... I've actually written to Olay Australia, begging them to stock the body wash and lotions! :)

I've not ordered from anyone but ebay yet, wait, I did order two dvd's from http://ezydvd.com.au They had a *great* price on two we wanted.

Tors, that buyquick one didn't work?

Hi Pamm-

What Olay products are you looking for? Here are a couple other sites Money listed, and they have some Olay products:

http://www.pharmacyonline.com.au/olay-m-595.html
http://www.paylesschemists.com.au
http://www.epharmacy.com.au/searchresults.asp?searchsection=products&terms=olay&stype=NP&expand=0

I'm not sure if they will at all have what you want, but have a go! Good luck.

Thanks, Natasha, but no joy :( Olay America actually told me they don't carry the two products I want in Australia, the Quench body and hand lotions, and any of the body washes. I can't imagine why, but I'm going to pester both Olay Australia and Olay America till they do ;)

Holy cow, I just looked up one of the Aveda products from this website, the price isn't much different from what I paid in the USA. I've seen it for twice the cost in Australia!!!!

Not to scare you but...

Have you used that product before? I gave it a try back in December and it caused me to get these tiny little red bumps around my eyes where it had been applied. I checked Sephora.com reviews of the product and lo and behold a couple of others complained of the same thing. It must be a sensitivity issue---just be on the look out, seems to affect a minority of people.

Cheers,

Samantha

I cant believe no one has said gray's online!! GRAY'S ONLINE

Best wine auctions ever! They have daily auctions and we get ALL our wine from that site at GREAT prices.

Other than that... I don't shop, especially not online. Oh how I miss my online shopping in the US.

I've tried using this site and I found it too confusing! I couldn't figure out how it worked (the dumb blonde inside of me coming out). But to be fair, the Money article did say the site has been revamped to make it more user-friendly, so maybe I will give it another go!

Has anyone used Shopsafe? I stumbled upon it while looking for big and tall shops for Jason online.

This is my friend Penny's shop in Castlemaine, VIC. She sells children's clothing and toys. Website pre-registering for when it opens, which should be sometime in the near future I think. Some of her stock is natural fiber, other she imported from America, etc.
