Does anyone know if USA foods sells Angel food cake mix maybe betty crocker? I've found some mixes in Coles but they are more like cakes, thick, not light and airy. I'm not the best baker or I would make it from scratch but it didn't turn out right the last time lol

If anyone lives in Sydney, there are a couple of stores in the Sutherland Shire that sell American (and British) candy. A majority of these stores are in the Miranda Westfield shopping mall; but, their prices seem a bit high in my opinion.
Outside the mall, a newsagency stocks "America drinks" (or something in twisted English), such as grape-flavoured Fanta at $4.00 a can.

There's also a store in Mortdale (also on the blue railway line) that sells stuff made by Hersheys, too.

In terms of foodstuffs, one kind of has to trek around Sydney to find stores that sell one or two things. Most of them are present in the city/north of the city/Bondi; I can't quite name any stores at the moment.

There's a decent amount of US stuff at the DJ's in the CBD in Sydney. I remember Mrs. Butterworth's, Log Cabin, genuine maple syrup, canned pumpkin, and Franks Red Hot.

Anyone know where I can find Daily's or Mrs. T's Sweet and Sour mixer? how about Minutemaid Limeaide frozen concentrate? They're a required ingredient for my margaritas! So far the liquor stores I have been to have very little mixer of any sort. They have margarita mix but I don't like that by itself.

I may see if I can bring back a big jug or 2 or Daily's when I am in the U.S. But would be nice to have a place to get it here!

I have seen American made French's mustard on the shelf in more than one Coles supermarket priced at about the same price as the other mustards. I don't know if Coles just started carrying it or if they have had it on the shelf for a while.

I've seen it over here at IGA, too, and it's the same price as MasterFoods' "Mild American" mustard.

Here in WA, there's a few odd little places you can find hidden gems...

Kong's Supermarket in Victoria Park sells A&W root beer by the can and case, at a very reasonable price - you can also find grape soda and other goodies, such as Dole Pineapple Juice, intermittently.
They had Capri Sun once...*wistful sigh* I generally stop in whenever I'm in the area to see if I can get lucky - it doesn't hurt that the local Baskin Robbins is just over the road, either. ;)

The EzyPlus 24 hour convenience store on Beaufort Street in Inglewood sells a lot of Reese's products, in addition to Butterfingers, Cherry Coke, Wild Cherry Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, a variety of Mountain Dew flavours, more grape soda, root beer and occasionally Canada Dry. Prices are decent, especially for a 24 hour deli...
You'll always be able to score some Cups or Pieces, in addition to whatever exotics they've come across - even Hershey bars and Twizzlers sometimes!
Reeses and Hershey brownies and genuine Pop-Tarts can also be found fairly regularly, but you have to be quick cause they sell like hotcakes!

SupaIGA Dianella stocks Hershey's Chocolate Syrup cans, proper maraschino cherries, and Karo syrups (dark & light), in their international food section. I've also spotted French's mustard, and last trip they had French Fried Onions!
Also the Harvey Fresh long life Half n' Half is quite good.

Fresh Provisions in Mt. Lawley also has bottles of Hershey's syrup, but they tend to be pricey.

Ours too, and you'll never find it here. Only way is to make your own.

Try this: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Limeade

Worked well for me. After I made it squeezing limes I found reconstituted lime juice at Woolies.

Also in WA - its worth a visit now and then to the IF Store (International Foods): 23/155 Canning Highway, East Fremantle WA 6158 (08) 9339 0000 ‎ Was in there this week and they had Rotel and Bisquick both. They usually stock some Mexican and Cajun stuff too. I buy some fish fry type stuff there. They also stock random Indian and Asian food stuffs including frozen appetizers, naan, etc. Prices are very high.

I get the Goya Green Chili Salsa there or at European Foods in Northbridge. It's great for green chicken enchiladas. European Foods also has some Goya products including the canned black beans that are so good for a quick easy dinner. You have to buy at least 3 of any product since they are a wholesale market, but that's ok.

The RE Store right around the corner from European Foods in Northbridge also stocks random US products now and then. Plus a nice selection of European items.

Decent fresh corn tortillas and Mission White Corn Tortilla chips can be had at some Coles - I've found them at Garden City, and at one down Canning Hwy.

The Five Star Grocery store (I think that what it is called) in Nightcliff, NT has a bunch of American candy and Pop Tarts! The candy bars are $2.29 and the Pop Tarts are $8.99 a box. They have Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Reese's Pieces, White Reese's PB Cups, PB Twix, Baby Ruth, Hershey Bars plain, almond and cookies n cream, Three Musketeers, Butterfinger, and Junior Mints. The Pop Tarts they have in many varieties also.
