Mine is ANYTHING from Lucky Brand. Their clothes, belts, purses, bikinis, watches, and a major love love love for their jewelry! I usually don't go a day without wearing something I have bought from there.

That and make-up! MAC, Estee Lauder, Benefit, Lancome, Chanel, Nars. I get most of this duty free when I travel. I have soooooo much make-up that actually have it insured. Now you know thats an addiction!!!

I am totally addicted to cheese--Wisconsin girl, all the way! I'm really going to miss the wide range of cheeses we have here in WI when I move to Oz... Maybe that will be a good thing, all that cholesterol can't be very good for me :nono:
meg, you are going to LOVE checking out all the local and imported cheeses here :p
I've got a dozen new favourites, there are some very good ones made right here in Western Australia, and a few great ones from Tasmania.
There's plenty of European master-cheesemakers setting up boutique cheese factories here all the time, and you'll get great samples sometimes on wine-tasting tours in the Swan Valley and Margaret River :lurve:
NO LACK of cholesterol HERE! :woohoo: :yaay:

Food - I can spend hours wandering at the fresh food markets - and then I have to quickly do a mass cooking day so it doesn't all go bad.... I used to love shoes too - but I had to simplify when I moved here and now I just enjoy my weekly trips to the prahran market....

Do I really need to tell y'all what my addiction is?

(incidentally, I just pre-ordered the new upcoming single - 2 CDs and a 12" vinyl. I don't even own a record player!)

Here in Tassie it's $5-6 ... I wonder if that is much different from mainland prices?

I love Mersey Valley Pickled Onion cheese

Ebay: man that place is the devil, I stay off that site for months at a time just because I know if I buy one thing I'll buy five others :) That being said I've had luck selling stuff on there too.

Since we're talking about all sorts of objects and not just clothing anymore, I have to add an addiction:

International Travel---far, far more expensive than any bit of clothing (well except your Prada, Gucci, variety) but my wanderlust just won't go away.

So I usually find myself saving for years at a time to go backpacking (at least the form of travel is cheap.)

I'll give a decadent addition under the international travel heading: I've been lucky enough to travel TWICE on Premium Economy roundtrip Oz to US (once due to parents' FF points, and once from my own), and I'm most definitely addicted to those seats. Especially on Qantas. (Virgin is great, but not AS great IMO.) I'd give my pinky toe to fly that way every time ... if I had extra pinky toes. Although, maybe if I let those bunions cultivated from too many years of inappropriate high-heeled footwear stand in, I will have what look like extra toes. (JOKING! sort of. The bunions are genetic.)

Anyhoo, where were we? ...

Also: piccoline olives at David Jones. They're not your average green olive.

P.S. It's been a few months since I've posted much; I thought I'd do a soft landing here. :)

Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a travel addict as well - so generally I'm always broke!

So ... the Catwalk section has been a bit sleepy lately ... so to start some conversation I'll share a dirty little secret.

I am addicted to shoes.

No seriously.

I have about 70 pairs. Of stilettos. And I have them displayed in my guest bedroom on bookshelves ... just so I can admire them

Anyone else have a shopping addiction they'd like to share??
Definately vintage and strange cocktail rings. I used to have so many and I sold a lot at one time. I kept a few that I actually wear. I just adore them they have a personaility all of their own, the quirkyer the better. I'm quirky too so its a perfect match. i never cared for shoes very much but a friend gave me a pair of real Guccis she bought in Italy that she didn't wear anymore, open toes sandle high heels and I have to admit I can see what all the fuss is about I feel like a million bucks when I wear those.
