It's brought up all sorts of strange feelings in my tummy that I'm not sure I would have had if I didn't have a child.

I saw it on my flight back to the states last year.Great movie, but an airplane is not a great place to watch this one unless you like crying around strangers.Which I don't.I felt like such an ass lol.
Hey, Michelle, I felt like more of an ass watching it on my trip back from the States last year, the flight attendant shook me awake because I was coughing so badly, handed me a mask to wear, and evacuated my row, and told BNE I probably had Swine Flu and needed to be quarantined when I got off the plane. So I already had reason to cry........
 8)
oh Geez Lisa that IS bad!! I remember back then everyone was so paranoid about swine flu, that had to have been an awful experience for you!

Well, not long ago I read Jodi's newest book.. House Rules. It's about a teenager with Asperger's Syndrome who's on trial for murder, and all of the related fallout (mainly due to his condition and others' misunderstanding thereof).

Biggest pile of rubbish EVER. The main character embodies just about every negative stereotype of autism that ever existed, the other adults struck me as basic caricatures, and the ending was OH-so-totally predictable. I wanted to slap the entire 'cast', throw the book at the wall, and get those 2-3 hours of my life back.
