hey guys.. so i got our paperwork.. the envelop sticking out of our letterbox SOAKING WET! had all the papers laid out and dried and some have colour run and are crispy.. but eh.. hopefully it's all good :P

just a quick question.. someone mentioned their partner had to do an AFP check.. i don't recall reading this in my packet. can anyone else confirm?

also, do you send evidence again now or when they request it (the envelop isn't that big)

and.. there was nothing about a fee on the checklist. anyone know the fee?

thanks in advance. hope everyone is well :)

 My partner didn't need an AFP, I think it's only when children are involved (maybe? Not sure) 8)
Send supporting evidence NOW, when you return what's on the checklist.
You've already paid the fee, with the first Fiance/Spouse (Temp) visa.
Good luck! :hugs:

We just sent ours second stage in and got confirmation that they received it on the 4th of Feb. My husband did have to do an AFP check and the reason I was given was because if there are children under the age of 18 living in the house it is a must. If you don't have kids then your fine without it.

We are just waiting now and hope to hear from Immi soon and then we will be permanent too.

Thanks, Janda, that's what I thought. :goodonya:
Mine took nearly 6 months :( but that was 2 years ago, and Perth DIAC is really slow, hopefully yours will be faster!
