Yeah, I'll update as we go. They haven't done much in the last couple days, just put up a few peices of steel for the 2nd floor. (oops I mean 1st floor:))

We are renting a house about 10 minutes drive away (8ks). House should be ready by June next year, but we need to build the driveway right after that before we can move in. Out lease runs to August next year, so we have until then:)

Latest progress:

2nd floor almost done:

Thanks Kim:) The park is the main reason we didn't buy elsewhere and built here.

The formwork holding up the balcony damaged the top row of bricks, and the builder is working on it. We didn't have to say anything. One day we saw the damage, the next they were working on it:

OH, seriously jinxed!:)

If they finish before June I will have more time to get the landscaping done and that can only be good:) Would also be able to move some things in and save some moving costs.

But, I don't think they will finish early. There is still a LOT of work to do and practically the whole industry shuts down for 4 weeks starting 2nd week of Dec.

Thanks mate. All the front windows are double hung, but everything else is a left/right slider. We would have done more DH, but they cost a lot more.
