I was wondering: Can send in my request for the FBI background check before the C.O. requests in a PMV application? I hear that it's taking quite a while and I wanted to get a jump start on the waiting period if at all possible since I really don't want to wait any longer than necessary, and if I can send in with the rest of my application and not have to wait, then so much the better! Thanks!

I did that, though it was 5 years ago, but recently it seems that you only need to wait for the CO to request medicals. Keep in mind that the dates of your FBI check and medicals both influence the dates you must enter Australia and marry by, as they both expire in 1 year. Good luck! Lisa

Melbourne, VIC	I thought it was only the medicals that I had to wait for, but I just wanted to make sure! Getting it a little early shouldn't be a problem since I'm pretty much ready to move as soon as I get the visa granted. Been ready for quite a while now, haha. Thanks for the help!
