Joe sent me an email today, it's in Washington....not delivered yet.....yes, express post bag straight away. We are both over it!! It's a shame how all this waiting and stress makes you nit pick and bicker at eachother.....and we are not even married yet, lol. |

LOL When we're stressed we usually take it out on the people closest to us. Or strangers. Depending on what kind of personality you have. XD So should I not ask if there's been any word?

Septemer 09 All police checks done 10/12/09 Medical done and police checks back 28/10/09 Sent off papers to passport office for nororized passport copies after being told can't be done in AK 15/12/09 Papers back from passport office finally...big hold up! 8/01/10 Frontloaded visa application 22/01/10 Credit card charged 12/03/10 Confirmation of application from case officer - E.R. Somewhere in here the case officer called and said they needed a 3rd AK background check (although the state troopers could not undersand why). Case officer advised that after they received this, a decision could be made. 22/5/10 3rd Alaskan background check arrives in DC. 25/5/10 Call case officer to follow up on receiving background check. Says will happen "very soon" (?). 02/6/10 Still heard nothing, so call case officer and have to leave a message. 03/6/10 Case officer calls to do phone interview. After alot of questions, says a decision will be made and will be advised via email or mail....still no answer! 30 minutes later.......... VISA APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks girls! Well.......your going to laugh, but we have another set back .... a certain person just have to have a hernia operation...so now we have to get the all clear from his doctor to fly out here!! We will know the outcome on 21st June, grrrr. Life is testing. |
