i love the cold. people here think i'm crazy because i wear tshirts all year round, and very rarely have a jumper/sweater/hoodie on, and that comes off the instant i go inside. the ex husband would wear shorts, tshirts and flipflops all year round in anchorage, except for when he was at work. |

I guess your baseline is lower than mine! I had an ex-bf from Iowa who moved to California in the middle of winter. He was like your ex-husband - summer clothes all year round. Brr! |

Well............... He tells me the other day that there were people out in their tanks tops and shorts in Anchorage because it was sunny and warm........................12 degrees!!  I guess it is all relative to what your used to year round.....but I have been to Alaska 3 times both winter and summer, and it is not all about ice and igloos  |

oh shit yeah... 12 degrees is a heat wave up there, lol!!! i would have been one of the crazy ones in shorts and tanktop or tshirt if i still lived there... |
